Default PLUMBING FOR TIAL WASTEGATE

I know that some wastegates are plumbed differently. My question is on a Tial wastegate does the line from the intercooler pipe go to the top or the side of the wastegate? I have a MBC and when its turned completely down I am still running 17psi. I might have the plumbing backwards.

make sure the wastegate itself is hooked up right since it fits 2 ways, its supposed to fit sideways so the exhaust flows through the bottom and out the side. Then if your running single port mode run a hose from the banjo bolt to the side port and leave the top port open.
