yes it does, but im terrified that something impossible to fix is bent under there and that they are going to total it. I have spent way to much time and money on this car to have some idiot take it away overnight!!!!!!!!!

Don't get sad, get mad!
The car is repairable just may cost some $
I don't know what MS law is regarding insurance, but here in GA two major components have to be damaged to be totalled to earn a salvage title. For example a complete front and rear clip. Despite the suspension damage, you may not even have one component. However the problem is parts/repair cost. Hopefully it's not over, or, much more than your policy limit. It would be worth spending some money out of pocket if you had to so you can keep the car.
I'm going through a similar experience myself. Late October, an illegal alien blew through a stop sign and T-boned the front end of my car. I've been fighting with his insurance company ever since. I have a ton of money in my car, so I had to get an appraisal. They have raised their offer twice, but still a no go.
Make sure you have competent people do the repairs.

o man thats terrible, is yours definately done for? Thankfully my insurnace agent is really great and i think she will work with me on it. I have never had to do body work on a porsche before, when you say competent shop what do you mean, like a porsche specialist or a big shop in town. Its at one of the biggest in Jackson MS, barnetts body, but they dont specialize in porsche, is that ok. They have done great work on a bad front end crashed honda CRV for us so im hoping...

It is unfortunate that this has happened. But it could be worse. It isn't as if is not fixable or it was stolen and gone forever. Get an estimate from a collision shop to see what is damaged and the cost of repair. If new parts are too expensive, you'll likely be able to find some used. Your black paint should be easy to match. Might as well get the whole front piece repainted while you are at it, and it will look better than it did before the hit. Your insurance should cover the bulk if not all of the repair. You are in for the hassle of repairing the damage, which is the worse part, but such is life, and the risk of ownership. Parking on the street during a party is risky when there is likely more than a few drinking drivers around. These things happen on occasion when owing cars, so you might as well learn how to deal with it. Many of us have been there and done that. Good luck.

Tech shops that work on Porsche are a start. Call your PCA chapter. Ask around... Own your problem, see it through, and you'll have your car restored. If you don't, lart will get it
