Advice here is good. Fiberglass rarely comes out of the mold the same way twice. When we redid the nose of the race car, we used the GT Racing header and fascia and the AIR splitter. Struggled with each one to some degree or another, but eventually they came together. These are racing parts and their fit and finish should be judged accordingly...as soon as you go here, you become a fabricator, willingly or not

We put the LR V panel on the track car. Had a couple of small issues, but if I remember Perry right, it took him several hours to fit and perfect his panel for the street. Track car - fit can be quick and easy and still look decent, street car - you will probably have take your time with the piece unless a stock metal one is used

To me the Lindsey one always looked ugly but effective. Sort of like a Mako shark or Stingray but a bit butt ugly. I kind of like the old 924 CGT 4 slot ones but the AIR ones look the best so far between the two.

Performance Products one also looks nice although FWIW it's almost a full $100 more than any of the others. It also looks suspiciously like the AIR model (draw your own conclusions).

To their credit however, they do say "mounts easily without modifications to existing panels", although the skeptic in me can counter that by saying, "yeah, but it says nothing about requiring modification to THIS panel!" Not sure how to interpret it.

Anyone know of (or have) a used 951 header panel that's not dented or bent? Color is unimportant (since I'll be sanding/repainting anyway). The more I look at those old pics of NZ951's car, the more I love the 931 turbo header look on the 951. If I can't find one I'll probably go with the AIR one.

Some pics of NZ951's car - note the custom fabrication of intercooler ducting made out of sheet metal on the sides - very nice work. I'm considering something like this. Far better than the stock plastic duct that always cracks.

Anyway, this is a very possible direction for me:
