Okay BUMPITY BUMP BUMP!
DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY INFO ABOUT THE PORCHE PADDOCK? Is there a special ticket deal or is it just a matter of showing up? Does one need to reserve a spot? Etc. Thanks. Lokking forward to the meet up!

ehall,
The Citrus PCA site only states that it's 1st come, 1st parked.

From my past experience, it's first come first serve. Since PCA is renting the parking area and hospitality tent, you've got to sign a waiver. Also, I believe only Porsches are allowed to park, a PCA membership card doesn't do the trick if you're driving a rental, like me

This is a perk of being a PCA member. Daytona doesn't exactly give away the lot, it's quite expensive actually. Plus, the hospitality usually has a television feed inside (really nice if it's raining). I'm looking forward to the race this year. Haven't been to the 24 Hours since 2000.

Bumpty bump for the few days remaining until race day. Who's in, where are you coming from, when are you driving to Daytona, where are you parking, what are you driving, etc, etc, etc???????

CK will be leaving from Odessa/Tampa on Saturday AM, I'll try to get into the paddock while driving my black '89 951. My departure time from the Tampa area is flexible in case there are those that would like to meet up to drive across as a group. If so, let's pick a time and meeting place in east Tampa or Plant City and get this thing rolling.

Does the infield ticket allow you to drive in also? Or is that extra to drive into the infield?

I will be there and hopefully in my car, but not PCA member anymore so I guess I can't park in the Porsche paddok.

Anyone else from Orlando area?????

What time are you planning on heading over there?

May be worth it to try and park there anyway. You could use the old: "I left my PCA card in my other jeans pocket" gimmick.

Maybe show my Rennlist card?????

So you can park in the infield with the normal infield ticket? The only time I have done the infield parking was for the historic races.

Man, I wish I could meet you guys there. I live in a little town outside Orlando and am only about 35 minutes from the Speedway. Unfortunately, I am in Atlanta on business and won't be home until the 2nd. Oh well, I'll be there next year. Anyone doing the pre Daytona 50 stuff next month? My father-in-law owns a Busch and two ARCA teams and we always spend the several days prior to the race there.

Not setting the alarm or anything. Just getting up, get ready, eat and leave. I would guess by about 10:30-11. Only about 45 min for me to get there.

I'm guessing I'm going to transit the area around 9-10 AM. That time is flexible depending on the Suncoast area people that decide to go that day. What exit will you get onto I-4 from?
