Intake Adapter for cone filter on 951
Any idea where I can source an adapter for a 1988 951 to install a cone filter to the stock AFM? I'm going to try some different things this winter (cabin fever already setting in) but have to keep things from the AFM onwards original.
Thanks much,
Rick

Let me know...that would be great. If that doesn't work out, I'll check Autozone...I have to admit, I never thought of "getting in the 'Zone" for this.
Thanks,

Here we go.......
I think you wil find while reading the posts regarding cone filters, that the reduced filtering capability and hp lost sucking up hot engine bay air, are not benificial to the engine. People run cone filters with aftermarket MAF's because it's a "lesser of evils" when removing the stock snorkel and running a 3" inlet.
It would be nice if somebody made a 3" that dumped into the fenderwell!
