Yes I was referring to the style of vent not placement, this should be placed directly behind the intercooler to help draw air out, make it more efficient at the same time reducing front end lift. Just a simple vent.

i talked to him today and he said at the absolute maximum they would cost $1200 each(hopefully a bit cheaper). as i said before they will fit perfect, and be a high gloss show finish. this includes the vents as well. he can also make the sunroofs, 968 turbo RS spoilers, front splitters, even panels etc. we just need numbers. all these parts will be extremely light. the aerocatch will cost extra of course. it probably wont be installed because i have recieved a few PMs, saying they want to do the install. and the bonnet catch can be used. we will be using DB carbon for the bracing with countersunk nuts for the catch. these will be top quality. i have seen some of his work and its flawless.(he usually works on high competition yachts, such as sydnet to hobart, americas cup. also does carbon bike wheels for tour de france. stuff like that. so once again i need to know who is really interested and in what, now that i have given an estimate price.
thanks

the Carbon hood will weigh 5kgs or less. i have an RS wing on my car. if we get them made i will get one made too. much bertter quality.

here is the AIR 968 TRS wing on my car. we can use this as a template. but as i said it will be much better quality.

I don't suppose that price was including shipping? My definite answer depends on the final price, but for all intensive purposes count me in.

Did anyone ask if he could do something like a saratoga top? Obviously not the weight loss of a regular cf top, but if he could do some glass or something in the middle that would be cool. Could probably make a decent profit off those alone.

not sure about the glass sunroofs. i dont think my CF guy will be making much if any profit from these. i did some work on his car(skyline) and he ows me a few favours. so i have asked him to do some CF. i will ask about the glass top.

I was thinking necesarily a full glass top, but something more along the line of making a cf frame and then just sticking a glass pane in the middle.

But I figured it was a long shot anyway, so no problem if he won't do that.

bonus, even cheaper for us in the states.

I also vote for a series of drop down vents behind the intercooler. Similar in style to a GT1 Porsche, GT2 or many of the Japanese GT Challenge (now Super GT).

Put me down for a hood, personally I think the 2 naca ducts would look best. If the vents start getting too crazy it could get pretty messy for those people who already have vents in the nose panel / other body mods etc.

I'd also be very interested in the rear wing.

Thanks for taking the initiative over here Sean

Any idea how much the TRS wing would cost?
