One of the plastic receivers along the rear of the sunroof (the edge nearest the hatch... not the bit at the hinged edge, by the windshield) has shattered. -Old age I suppose. -Just to clarify, this is where the retracting motorised 'arms' slip inside the sunroof and raise it.

So now the passenger side is unsecured, and flaps up & down a bit at around 80MPH... it's a bit annoying amongst other things!

Anyhow, I see lots of the front clips being sold on eBay and suchlike, but I've still never seen any of the "back" receivers that I need. -Perhaps it's not a commonly-broken part.

-Does anyone have a spare one or two for sale? -I'm not sure if they're left-hand or right-hand specific.

I have 2 but they come with the sunroof

 

Might just be gears. If they are stripped roof will flop too. See Pelican parts.

I'm looking at a snapped part here, and it's not a gear. It's the bit inside the sunroof.


-It doesn't look like that picture as far as I can tell... I'll have another look. Maybe I should take a photo of the snapped part which I have...
