Default Anyone ever replace turbo oil supply line?

My turbo oil supply line (part number 10 on pic below) is leaking. Rather than pay out the @$$ for a new or used line I was thinking of alternatives. Has anyone here replaced this line with AN fittings and braided hose? If so, how would you connect to the flat fitting on top of the turbo? Since the fitting on the turbo end is a solid pipe I need suggestions on how to secure a replacement line that won't leak.

My only thought so far is to cut off the solid line flush with the flat connector and tap into the flat piece and install an AN fitting.

Having never worked with AN fittings before, I'm not sure on sizes, etc.

Any suggestions? Surely someone on this board has over-engineered a replacement for this very pricey Porsche line.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

I replaced mine with a braided line but my turbo from pauerman came with a fitting in the top so I brought my old supply line to a shop and had them make me one that would fit

Aeroquip makes steel male "bung" fittings, you can TIG the male fitting to the steel pipe on both ends and then fabricate a small hose to go between the two. I would not cut the fitting flush with the plate and expect to be able to thread that thin of a base to accept an NPT to AN adapter.

I replaced mine with braided-line and a restrictor from SFR when I swapped to the GT30R. So far it seems to be doing its job.

Thanks, guys. Perhaps the best solution is to just take the part to a hydraulic specialty shop and have the braided section replaced?
