Were all 944 Turbos (951) built in 1988 and 1989 the Turbo S versions?

Simple Answer...NO

The S was introduced mid year 88 as typical to Porsche S models.
The 89 model incorporated the features of the 88S model.

No, just curious.

Maybe one day I will purchase a 944 Turbo S, to go with my 924S and 993 2S. Then I would also need a 68 911S and maybe 997S, etc. Then I would get a Divorce S.
