Folks,
My speedometer started acting up, it wouldn't register until I reached 30mph but then would read fine for the rest of my trip. This lasted a couple of weeks, now it doesn't register at all, nor the odometer. I've replaced the sending unit, and determined that it's getting power. What next?
I'm new to this car, 3 months, we've had the belts, adjuster and water pump changed. Is there a regular maintenance that needs done to the turbo charger itself?
Thanks
RL

There is a small plastic gear that breaks in the speedometer that is very common. You can buy the gear from many places. It takes about an hour to pull the cluster and replace the gear. Gear is under $30 from memory. I did mine about 3 months ago.
As far as I know there is no maintenance on the turbo.

As far as the turbo, just keep your oil filled up all the way and make sure your hitting about 1.7 bar on the stock gauge.

On cold mornings, my speedo will sit at zero until I get to the end of the street. If I tap on it, however, it'll pop up sooner. Maybe a little lubrication is in order.
