Was driving this guards red w/black 86' 944 Turbo as my daily commuter until 2 months ago. About 170K on engine & body, approx. 70k on transaxle. Rear main seal and fronts seals were getting very bad, leaked about 1 quart to 1000 miles. Bought a Turbo S that needed work and am happily commuting with that now. Needed to rob the center exhaust manifold off the 86', will also be removing the rear lower rear air deflector unless I come with another, the MAP, K27 and unfortuneately I will also need the DME and KLR so I can use the turbo and MAP on my S. Have stock tubo with about 100K and barndoor setup I can send along. So, bottom line, it lacks the boxes, one exhaust manifold, lower air deflector and rear area carpet from being complete now. Has long studs front and rear forspacers to run late wheels but original phone dials on now. Water pump about 9 months old. Front rotors about 1 rear along with rebuilt rack. Good project/ parts car cheap.

whats the body &interior like?

 

The body is okay, not great. The left rear quarter has been repaired at some time, paint doesn't match exactly and small spot is starting to peel. Small dent the the LF flare behind the wheel. The drivers seat cover is shot, they are the basic leather with drivers side power.

 

I love it, on a normal day, this would be gone. But it's Thanksgiving, so 2 hours later, I've sent my PM and only one other person has seen this

 

When I first saw this post I thought somebody stole my car and put it up for sale, but I just looked, and the hunk-o-junk is still sitting in the driveway...

Last thing I need is another car, but might have to pick this one up, awaiting photos. Time to go eat some potatos and turkey!
