I changed the oil once since I got it in May. I checked it today and saw it was a bit low, so got a quart to add. I noticed like wet rusty colored stuff inside the yellow cap. Anyone else come across this phenomena?

Is it watery? It's probably just condensation. Drive it until the engine gets nice and hot, then check again and it should be gone.
