I really like those Gemballa Competitions, I mean LOVE. They really look agressive. I had a set of Roocks that look a lot like them on my Boxster S and got LOTS and LOTS of comments on how cool my car looks. I had a bit of mental lapse and sold them on ebay when I sold my boxster. Shoulda kept them for my 944 Turbo!

If I didn't have an engine rebuild on my plate, I would be all over a set of those, $3500 without tires.

From the pics you have up, they are sweet. Get someone to Photoshop them for you and let's see?

Great BUT the Gemballa would have a much bigger lip in the rear if you got a 18x11 or even 18x10. That looks like a front tire(18x8) front and back. Am I making sense

Your current wheels do look great though, is your car early or late offset?

The wheels in the picture are Roock USA's 18 in Competition.
Those are the wheels from the Boxster picture. The lip is the same on front and rear, fronts are 18x9 and rears are 18x10.5. Gemballa may be a little different.

I know the Gemballas are much lighter than the Roock wheels. The Roocks were 28lbs front and 31 rear. The quote I got from Gemballa 18x8's - 20lbs, 18x10's - 21lbs.

I do love those exact Gembellas, very nice. As I said, Id like to see those exact ones on a car, not something similar. Here is a link, which doesnt show you the rims on the car. But you can see the rims, really, really close up and their lips.

Do any of these do anything for ya? They do for me, yeah baby, yeah!

RolexNJ, I really like the Profile 5S. What rims are you going to put on your new car?

I "hope" to get the Profil 5s, but we shall see. The older FM5s are nice too, but they don't offer as many fittings which I may need. I am doing a lot of research as we speak into rims, but I'm pretty much sold on Fikse for a variety of reasons. More than likely I will get the Profil 5s, as stated on my web site. It's usually up to date.

As you will read, and if you don't already know, if you're car is a street car weight really doesn't matter. Go by what you like and fits your car. You have a lot of nice choices that people gave you on this thread. And as I said, the Gambellas are sweet my friend!
