I am assuming you mean only the block. Oil Feed for the Turbo.

how much work is it to make an NA block work for a turbo car? if not too much I might have found a new project to start. Sorry for the highjack Mike!

No prob on the hijack. Always interesting to discuss ! If your interested I have many of the parts needed to make an n/a a turbo (and a GOOD piggyback to control fuel/ignition)

Anyway, I got one PM and I'm considering but I'm looking more for a good shortblock I could maybe just reseal and throw my head on... Anyone have anything else?

Hey Chris, I've got a question. Would you swap the balance shaft cover from a turbo to n/a block? Provided both block and cover surface is 100% flat. I've heard horror stories of massive oil leaks but I seem to doubt that...

The upper balance shaft housing is typically already tapped for the turbo oil feed, but just has a plug in it on the N/A's (1986 on anyway). The block itself is the same, just the external bolt-ons, pistons/rods are different.

If you swap the housing from another block, you will have to resurface the block/housing and have the bearing saddle rebored. The balance shaft housings and crank girdle are matched to a specific block and not interchangeable without machine work.
