Good to hear man! Hope all works out, which route are you looking at going with? Tim just posted on the GAR board that they're closing some roads in Atlanta for the start. I'm pretty sure they're doing that for all the cities. Tim is not only a logistics genius, he's cool **** to boot!

I know you were joking. This high end rally stuff is expensive. Ive done local ones in the past, but they were only short ones. Like about 4 or 6 hrs, nothing that lasted days. I cant imagine doing a road rally for a week or so, must be a blast? Ive done AMA dirt bike races years ago in the GNCC and Enduro series. Boy was that hard on your body, thank God I don't race bikes anymore. No thanks!

Guns: That avatar as I already said is wild. Make it yourself or no?

yup...edited the chick to look like the wife, and the car, well that's GAR prepped baby! Well at least as far as the concept goes, should have the body done by Feb or March. Finding someone to do the carbon work within the next month or two, that's the tricky part .

Gunz,

I like the art work with the model sitting. Maybe not paint it on, but a removable type of plastic maybe?

Joe: thanks man!

Whitt944: hells no she's gettin' painted on. I want it done like the nose art on the old school bombers in WWII. I'll have to get some 3M protective stuff, but after the race i'll probably retire that front end and hang it on the wall. She's named "Black Betty" after that song by spiderbait (which is a remake from 8 billion years ago).

I would choose the one on the right. In my opinion it fits the "classic" styling of the rest of the design better.

Whoever goes into this race, I just hope you don't come back with some damage like this? Be careful, ok?

Guns: I like the Betty on the left, period.

Rolex: Wow how did that car change colors so quick? Is it bad I wanna do my avatar? Haha, I'm thinking the left haircut too...classic is nice - but I dunno

Whitt944:Just reread my earlier post, didn't mean to come off as an *** - I'm just stoked about gettin' this biotch painted on!

Hey Solo: What size rim are you planing on running? Have you started thinking about which city to start from? I read on the cannonball forum Tim's getting some roads closed for the start of the events (so far Atlanta for sure)!

Rob: Don't worry....I won't come back with any of that italian trash no matter how damaged it is.

Guns: My 968 has 18" rims on it - 325/30's in the back and 265/35's in the front. The only thing that might change is the rears since I can't find 325's any more. As for starting point I haven't considered that either. I still am waiting to see what sponsorship may be available.
