Thanks for the kind words guys - car is now finished its repaint, it has had some major changes to the rear - later type 968 colour coded spoiler fitted - colour coded turbo badge - rear porsche script delete - rear bumper strip delete - slightly larger exhaust tip fitted with original type profile.
Dont know what you guys think but I personally feel it gives the rear a cleaner, less cluttered look??

Anyway, from what I can see, I like how you painted the back of the car. Look cleaner. For me, and this is just my preferance, I would rather have the "turbo" badge be in black. But that's just what I think. The car came out excellent my friend!! Time to enjoy it and your hard work.
Cheers,

Rolex - you are one of the 50% who said I should have left the turbo badge black. I see your point but I was looking for a more subtle look on the rear, I felt the turbo badge in black was a bit " in yer face ", especially on a white car. I have been driving the car constantly over the last few days - my wife is loving it also except when its on boost In contrast, my 17 year old step son who is crammed in the back loves it

Very nice.....
What kind of gun/tip did you spray with...?
The door handles would look great in body color.
I have a picture of Alpine door handles on an 87 Alpine White 951 project I'm working on if you're interested in seeing what it'd look like.

Looks great. I love the back end. Have you thought of red turnsignals or clear signals instead of the yellow. I think that would help update the look.

I used a cheap suction feed gun with a 1.4 mm fluid tip - did the job perfectly.
Nice clean rear, I painted my handles-
Your car looks fabulous - the handles look great white and your wheels really suit the car - what make/type are they?

I have clear in the front and side - didnt know I could get clear for the rear, who supplies them?

Also just painting the orange parts red with that tranparent red model car paint would look cool. Would basically accomplish the same thing of getting rid of the orange.

Your results with the paint job look great, well done. I imagine in Ireland it could be challenging getting warm enough weather to paint at times. I lived in Ballina for a while and it seemed pretty damn cold there, not quite as cold as some of the Scandanavian countries I suppose but I am more used to doing such paint jobs in warmer weather.
