Default Dyno question

Has anyone ever seen their cross over glow red hot and shoot out sparks while on the dyno? Would this indicate that there is a crack somewhere?

They were in the area of where the crossover to wg connection is. This is also the area that was glowing red hot. The other reason is that I am missing a good 30 to 40 hp compared to similar setups. And increasing boost doesn't change much.

I'll send you the dyno sheets when I get them John. Chip was good once I turned the fqs back to 0, where I thought I had it before I started.

Exhaust leaks are no good, they will cause problems, fix soon.

I will. I'm going to pull the car down for the winter in the next week or so and the top end of the motor will be pulled. I've also got plans to inspect and coat all of the exhaust.

John, FQS setting question for you.

Position 4 is no added fuel with less timing. How much less timing and when would I want this?

Kevin, Questions regarding your chip should be taken off line.. Each chip has a unique FQS settings, posting the values for one on the list will cause all sort of confusions.

You should not be running with FQS pulling timing, not unless you are using terrible fuel.

Ok, I wasn't. I was just trying to figure out what the percentage it was and why I would use it, but you just answered that. No biggie though as it's not needed. I was running some nice 114 last night, but didn't get to play much as we discovered the crossover issue.
