I've found that the difficulty of driving it on the track is more tied to my "wuss" factor in not wanting to stuff the car in the wall...rather than the massive torque. Now my 89 951, different story! Funny how that works.

that #4 968 needs to be in AR this weekend for Porsche Palooza, I even have a condo for you in Heber Springs, for the whole next week...

In school in Houston, on lunch break, stress, stress in emergency management - all sorts of sounds, radios, missing persons...etc. I need tequila every damn day.

hello
The problem with the 968 Turbo S and Rsis that many people who give all these "information" do not even ever saw an original car and know very little about the car besides of what they heard or read on the web.
The 968 T Rsdo NOT use a k27/8
The car makes more torque than the 500 Nm at 3000. (this was for the Turbo Sbut Porsche never gave the real data on the RS, They just give teh same specs for both cars)
Fact is that the Turbo S make a little More Hp than Porsche says, usually 315 to 325. The max Torque is 515 to 525 NM at 3500 RPM. I have original documenation from Porsche Motorsport where tehy build teh car and the papers also says 315 HP for the Turbo S
The Turbo kicks in in higher gears at 1800 RPM. In lowergears at 2200 RPM
The max Boost for the Turbo S was 1,05 bar. The max HP was at 0,8 bar boost.
The Turbo RS had a restrictor in front of the Turbo and not in front of teh intake. It makes more Torque than the Turbo s for sure. It has a shorter gear box than the Turbo S (actually Porsche has two different gear boxes for the Turbo RS)
here some data comparing a tned 951 and my 968 Turbo S

Beautiful car. Is/Was at a local, New Orleans, shop before the Hurricane. I emailed the shop a few weeks ago but did not receive an answer about the car. If my memory serves me correctly the last for sale ad listed it for $75,000.

I know what you mean....I've felt like stuffing my 951 into a wall several times too....fortunately the feeling passed.

Default Futuristic 968 RS Turbo?

Scott, but how about a futuristic prototype like this, and then, install a complete, well thought out turbo system and an EMS too!

If anyone can use Adobe Photoshop, can you please make this car into guards red, I would love to see what it looks like. Actually, if "Test"_TD" was around he could do it in a minute, and add a front splitter, rear wing and graphics too. Dammit Test, where the hell are you!

Dude it is a morph of 951/968 and a little GT2....Awesome!!

Color is cool in that dark grey also.

If you could get exact measurements I could send to my friend that owns a custom fiberglass company and start making those body kits
