Go with dumped exhaust and dumped wastegate if you can in your area...its so worth that sound!

I've heard a 951 and a couple c4 vettes with power effects mufflers and they sounded pretty nice

I have one on my 86 951. It does sound good without being hollow. I'll see if I can find my autocross video...
I will run it closed when my wife is in the car or otherwise needs to be quiet(er).
But, these days it's left open all the time.
Wide open or closed, it still sounds good.

I have a dumped WG on the current car 4' LR with the Borla XR-1...... But am looking at a second 951......So I might use it on a new car, or just put it on ebay....
