It must have been a man on a budget !

Somebody needs to post this in the GT forum so they can have a laugh as well.

Seriously though - Is this kind of copying an infringment on Porsche's Patented design?

If you don't cross post it, I will just to make them laugh. And I would have to agree with you, that one would think this is breaching patented rights.

Rolex, I was reading a post over on the GT forum yesterday about how prices are seriously droping for the Carrera GT's and that some have sold recently for as low as $260,000.

Still more money than I've got to play with at the moment. It was also interesting to read about the horror stories people have had with clutches not lasting long even under normal driving conditions!

But hey I guess that if you can afford a GT then the cost of a new clutch the last of your worries.

I'll go and tease them now!

I hear you about the cars. In the US, sales have fallen off. I dont think Porsche put heavy marketing dollars into this supercar, as they have their bread and butter cars. And the price tag hurts in our economy too. Also, I have read several articles about how hard it is to get these cars into gears. I can only imagine that clutch issues would arise too. Anyway I love my 951

Now go over to that forum and make them laugh, Ill be there later.

This is true. Did they even sell Fieros in Canada back in 1986, eh? Either way, they were junk cars back then too, especially compared to an MR2. I think they supercharged it, didnt they? I think so, and that little car was pretty fast for back then too.

And Brian, go and get a job and get off of Rennlist! If you don't, I'm gonna take your spot in line with Chris and get bumped up pal!

I got a call back on monday for the job im interested in. Its a specialist type position for a medical imaging company. Pretty much the same kind of thing as I was doing before (high level support/install/etc) but way more travel. 60-70% of the job is travelling around North America setting setting up medical imaging system software. Single, 22 years old, might as well travel And working at hospitals/clinics is going to be better than working at ****ty US Indian casinos Ill find out later this week if im in line for an interview.

The only Feiros ive seen in my area have been in junk yards But my ex girlfriends current boyfriend has one that hes thinks will beat my 951

And ya there were Supercharged MR2s from the factory, only the older boxy Mk1 MR2s though. Had a little clutched roots blower. The Mk2 MR2s were N/A or Turbo.

Go for it Brian! I would, travel baby and see the world. I hope you get a call for the interview too. And the only place you saw them was in junk years? It figures, they were junk from day # 1 and made out of plastic!
