My "new" $800 car.....
It needs some love but for the price who fuggin cares? The trans is fragged and I have an LSD unit at work for it so I am good to go. Replaced the battery and put a set of my Cup 2's on it tommorrow and all I need to do is wait for the detail guy and I am back in a Porsche.
I finally settled with the insurance company on my 89 951 and after some "explaining" they saw it more my way and coughed up the cash. I almost got what PCA said it would be worth and bought it back for a VERY reasonable cost.
I think I see a 3.0 turbo in my future.....

89 with 117k. The engine was replace with a new unit at about 72k by a local dealer that sold the PO the car claiming that the Tbelt was done. Three weeks later it failed and trashed the motor. They installed a new engine and it now has about 40k on it.
I may just transfer all the turbo stuff over to it and leave the S2 badge on the back.
It has a shredded pinion gear and I have an S2 trans, I don't know. I will most likely drive it like it is for a little while and do the swap over the winter. I am also looking for another 951 so who knows........

Nice Chris! I have a mint black airbag wheel if you are interested. Yes, you have to leave the S2 badge on, no matter what you do to it lol

Well done. Hope it all starts to come together for you. Not sure about the entire S2 trans. but I am going to get and S2 crown wheel and pinion installed in my 951 along with an 80%lsd. This transforms the car as my mechanic (JET951) has done this to his car already and swears by it.
