Hey Olli, any idea where I could buy a decent set of Euro fenders? I can't seem to find anyone who has a set of Euro's in the states (go figure...)

NOOO! Keep the clean look the US cars have. For once something on a US spec car looks better than a euro model! but I would gladly put a euro rear bumper on my car.

Those side repeters are nowadays mandatory in EU countries.
Porsche used same lense as Golf II and Audi 80 had, so it's easy to find all possible colours or clear ones to replace original orange lense (at least in Europe).
Yes, they have their value.(and on stock Euro cars are fine) But in the US when something does not come on a car stock(and generally serves no purpose but to light up or glow) and you simply add it to add it(and generally not properly) that very quickly falls in line with what Rice is all about. Thus me liking the concept if executed properly.(as they are a safety feature and were actually on that car in the EU)

i have a US spec car and it is waiting a Euro spec rear bumber to be installed. I allready have all necessary stuff to make this conversion.

Its quite difficult to find Euro spec front fenders even here in europe.Occasionally there is some pairs for sale in German Ebay.

I see them in the UK ebay all the time. You might check there for bits and pieces.

I'm not sure if you missed that we have sidemarkers on the front and the rear. The euro cars look tons cleaner.

I agree. The side markers on US cars look like the afterthoughts that they are. The euro setup is a lot more functional and better looking as well.

I really like the euro bumpers myself! They are a little pricey though.

Scott,

www.944online.com has them I believe. The one they sold me was an origional Porsche part, still had the manufacturers sticker on it and everything. I was very impressed with their service, too. Mine was 6-700 I think, don't exactly remember. I hate how the U.S. bumpers stick out so far, and the two huge pads are ugly IMO.

"Kotflügel" means front wings/fenders.

PS : There are many efficient online translators.

Thom, thanks! I know, and I tried using them, but internet out here in Iraq is slow and most of them take forever to load.
