Flushing metal debris?
Well, I found out why I have no boost. One of the stock airbox bolts went adrift and ended up jammed in the turbo and that destroyed the turbo completely. Fortunately I have a spare and I'm installing that today, I hope, and will post the results. Any advice on flushing the engine for metal debris?

If the compressor side is the source for the metal debris, then you must clean the IC, IC pipes, Intake manifold. While the intake manifold is out, check the head (behind intake valves) for any debris.
Hot water, simple green and a shop vac will probably do it.. If you have metal debris behind the intake valves, use the shop vac, brake cleaner (on closed valves only). Hopefully sothing went inside the cylinders, the only way to tell is a scope.
Drain the oil and look for any metal debris just to be on the safe side.
