If you end up pulling the tranny yourself, I'd recommend zip lock baggies for the CV joints and zip tie them in place. I was reassembling mine to find that one of the CV joints decided to lose a ball. Thankfully it was in the baggie, but reassembly greasy CV joints is not what you want to be doing at the end of this project.
