boost can scroll to the bottom, anyone ever try it?

Isn't it just easier to hold the car at 5000 rpm and ease up the cluth to get higher initial boost? I have no problem getting wheelspin with my car either, i dont see the benfits in getting it though :P just makes for a bad start

well the description doesnt say anythng about boost spikes, could someone clarfiy its function?

Yes it does:

'If you want an even higher initial peak boost value'

'This will allow boost to flare a bit,'

It gives you a quick initial kick in the pants when you go on boost. It delays the opening of the wastegate at the preset boost pressure allowing it spike momentarily. You can get the same effect using a restrictor in the wastegate feed line.

To me it seems more of a bandaid for ineffective boost control. Its function seems to be to provide a "buffer" for when there is air getting past the boost controller, the air has to fill a larger space so with the can there is a longer delay before the wastegate starts cracking open too early.

probably not worth messing with. Same thing an MBC does pretty much anyway, except not as crude and spikey.
