Default New rebuild after bearing failure

My car is being rebuilt after a crank bearing failure. I have a new engine, head, clutch, pan and turbo.

What should I clean/flush that could have contaminated oil etc. from the failure? I am going to do the oil cooler and lines for sure. I plan on using kerosene and pouring it in the cooler letting it drain and then blowing out with compressed air. Any better suggestions?

Bring the block to machine shop and have them clean it. Its cheap, $50 'ish but worth it.

Also inspect your oil pump. Sometimes they pick up metal and score the pump surface.

The turbo, block and head are rebuilt. The oil pump waterpump were inspected and ok. All parts are from another car. I am really concerned about parts that could be possibly still on the car. I guess the only place that oil would be flowing to.

Just curious, but what oil has been used in the car over it's history?

Yes, please provide more details on the cause of the failure. This is the first known crank bearing failure that i've heard of.

Were you low on oil? Oil pressur ok?
