951 MAX chips installed
Started right up from cold and hot starts. Idled super smooth. Was
only able to do some 2nd & 3rd gear runs and a few 4th gear, vs. full boost
due to a lot of traffic and cops, etc.
FYI: I am running 42lb injectors LR Super 75 Huntley stg 3. he got these done and out to me in a few days and they are about nuts on I was told by other tuners/chip makers that those injectors and unknowns about the MAF etc. would make it to costly for them do trial and error on some chips. Russell had no problem at all.
Over all drivability is great. WOT, part throttle, on/off boost perfect. No stumbles or hesitations.
Started at 15psi and was just fine on the wideband.
In regards to spool, it was about the same, full boost runs (15-18)
in 4th about 4,100-4,200. Might try to lean a little in spool up and see, but it is a big turbo. Also, with 7K redline that these can run, still leaves me full boost power band of just about 3K rpm. Also, I see 15psi by 3,600.
Gradually turned up to boost to 18-19 (which is where I was already running) and a/f stayed constant just as Russell said. Proving there is no need for a “MAF” chip to acomplish this.
I kept my ARC2 all ZERO's until the last few runs I leaned the
MID out 1 click and richened the HIGH 1 click to see if spool up was sooner and
stayed rich, but never got much open road to really tell.
I have my EGT installed but not wired yet. Will do that soon.

So your running 19 psi on pump gas? If the A/F ratio is fine is this safe?
I have run 18psi with a good A/F ratio, but I have since turned it down to 16psi to be safe. Todd we should get together and do some runs, I'd like too see how our cars compare. We can meet in Daytona or something?

What are the details on your set-up?

VRSTAGE2: Well, I was only running up to about 6-6,200 to be safe for checking. The rev limit on these, which Russell has proven on many other street cars and track is 7K.
Sure, I can try to get out there sometime or you are welcome to come to Orlando. We keep trying to set up a Central FL get to gether, but it always falls through.
The a/f was pretty rock solid the whole way to 6K+ being about 11.9-12.3. I have an ARC2 and can always lean/richen things up if I need too.
Well, I was running 18psi already with my old chips (GURU) on pump with no problems and never, even on our super hot days, ever head any ping.
I have to get my EGT wired up and then I will really know things are safe. once that is, I will run 20 psi to 7K. Again, Russell has ran this and higher in TRACK cars and no issues. I have posted before about my mechanic running up to 30psi (mid range then rolling off) on the track as well and no problems.
It is really getting though on the threads now that BAD TUNING blows motors/headgaskets; not boost.
Porschephile -> "My 48# injectors were able to support 401 rwhp with no problem."
yep. Full boost at about redline was in the 11.8-12.3.
The injectors issue and another point that is being proven wrong. My mech. ran a duty cycle on my STOCK injectors at 18psi, MAF, 3" exhaust and he only saw 85%.
So either you ran run a lot more than most think on X size injectors, or injectors flow a lot more than their stated flow rates. But if that was the case everyone would be running super rich with aftermarket chips. So, see my first reason
Andial: Lindsey Super 75 (T3/67) with #8 hotside, MBC, Huntley stg3 MAF, ARC2 3" cat back (no cat) flowmaster 40 muffler and 42lb(450cc) injectors. 18-19psi.

My rpm signal dropped out on my Zetronix and I want ot get my EGT wired up. Then I will do some heavy 4th gear 7K runs and gradually turn up the boost and really open that big *** turbo up
Then I can post those datalogs.

Yes, 2.5 and Yes this turbo is a little too big
BUT, I get full 18-19psi by 4,100 or so and that is in 90+ super humid ambients.
In the fall/winter I was seeing full boost about 3,800-3,900. Also, I am getting a full bar about 3,700 3,800 and now can run to 7,000 if need be. So still a full boost power band of 3,000 rpm.
No dyno yet. George, not sure of his screen name, jsut dyno'd with these chips and almost same mods except he has LR head. I think he was close to 375-400 at the wheels at 18psi???

Of course, not all pump gas is the same. When I lived in Miami, they had 93 octane at the pumps, which adds a bit of safety margin over the 91 octane sold in California.
