Poll who wants Luis aka Lart back
#47
This thread was supposed to be about getting Lart back and after the first few posts, it quickly became about bashing each other, again.
928's are excellent cars. 951's are excellent cars. Both have somewhat dated futurisitic looks. There are nice/fast 928's and 951's. There are POS/slow one's too. 2 different cars built for 2 different markets/purposes. M3 and M5 come to mind, both very nice and nice to drive but still different.
Personally, if I owned a 928 I would want to make it beautiful and fast and keep it original. Use it as a high speed freeway burner. My 951 is all about going faster and turning faster, very minimal on how it looks.

Mark Anderson’s car is an example of what happens when you run an almost unlimited 928. He may have the only 928 out there that fills this category, there are plenty of 951’s that have been pushed to the limits.

Some of us love all Porsche's - hate to see any one group go out of their way to bash another.
On the topic of Lart - he'll be back, it's a temporary ban. Wrong place at the right time - happens every day around here.

Bring back The Lart !
You want this board to drift into cup holders and colored lights....?
Seriously though, too many good guys (who speak their mind/rough around the edges) are lost from forums. Granted, there is a line, but hey, having a bit of a good time is part of keeping your sanity through 944 ownership !
