New pics and videos from tonights session with Puppans Turbo Cup
We were out tonight programming the EMS for the new engine.
We only ran on base boost which is 0.65-0.70 bar (9.5-10.3 psi)
The car is running much better than anticipated on such low boost!
We clocked the car to 9.5 sek 100-200 km/h...
Here's a video clip with a 80-260 km/h sprint... Just imagine with the boost doubled
Video clip - 18mb MPEG
Engine bay:
Stay tuned for more action after a gearbox change

this may be a stupid question, but I've never seen one like it before - is that actually a Porsche designed intake manifold, or a custom one that you wrote "porsche motorsport" on?

Very nice intake Duke
Cool video, the car seems to pull very good.
was that the top of 4th gear?
That funny, i just did some videos last night too . 60-100mph and 60-140mph and even 10-about 140mph.

The engine was 99,5% complete when pics were taken, that's why it's missing a few lines etc.
It's a Swedish EMS called Nira i3+. Very competent but a bit complicated in some areas.
For those of you who don't know the engine spec:
* MID sleeved 3l block.
* Carillo rods
* Spec Stage 4 clutch
* Lightened flywheel
* 49mm intake valves
* Milledge cam and spring&retainers
* 3" exhaust
* Garrett GTBB turbo
* One off intake from Porsche Motorsport!?
etc.etc.

Gotta love GTBB equipped 951's
Yes this was at around 7000-7100 rpm in 4th which translates into 259.3-263 km/h real speed (161.1-163.4 mph)
