Default Bad Oil Leak on 951 - Cam Cover Gasket?

I've got a really bad oil leak, and I'm wondering if it might be at the cam cover gasket. When the car is running, oil literally flows down around the oil filter flange and onto the exhaust headers. I'm losing at least 1/2 quart on a 5 minute drive, and the smoke from oil burning on the headers is a bit scary (could it catch fire?). Anyway, I took a picture of the area where I think it's coming out... the gasket appears to be sticking out further than it should (maybe 1/4" or so). Please let me know if you think I'm on the right track, or if this amount of gasket protrusion is normal, what else could be leaking. If it is the cam cover gasket, how much should I expect to pay for the repair (at dealer vs. private shop)? Thanks in advance for your help!

It could be the cam tower gasket, it could be the large o-ring that goes on the back cam gear cover where it inserts into the housing, or it could be the small white seal in the same area. If you do pull this to repair, do not forget the clear seal on the front of the camshaft. Maybe someone can post a pic from PET or I'll try to get you part numbers in the morning or now...

You might see if you can just get a cam tower kit...I've never bought one, always bought head gasket kit(s)
928 105 199 12 cam tower gasket
999 701 602 40 o-ring 50x5
999 113 282 40 cam shaft seal 30x47
944 105 321 00 clear gasket
928 105 184 00 seal ring - white
928 105 189 02 gasket - cork back of cam tower
