AC Delete Help...

I just got the FastGuys bracket-- it uses three bolts (the fourth, omitted bolt is the "impossible" bolt at the top rear). It seems pretty nice and is only 9 ounces. Seems to have good reviews from other folks.
The only problem is dealing with the "hoist bracket" in the front and the other bracket at the impossible bolt.
My first picture is looking up and slightly toward the front of the vehicle. The second is looking up toward the back (at the "impossible" bolt).

Well depending on your setup you will need to take out the AFM / J-boot or MAF / J-pipe. Also the post intercooler charge pipe needs to come off. Remove the alternator from the top and compressor from the bottom. Intake does not need to come off. The most difficult part is removing the top rear most bolt for the stock compressor bracket (this bolt also holds on the front intake manifold support). Its in a very tight spot right up against the turbo water pipe.
If you never use your a/c like me, its a worthwhile thing to do. You end up with so much more space around the turbo making things much easier to work on. My j-pipe for the MAF fit much better also, no longer is it wedged up against the stock alternator shroud. Also depending how old your a/c condenser is you will really improve airflow to your radiator. My condenser i believe was original with 120k miles in the north east.. a bucket of sand basically came out of it when i tapped it on the bench.

do you remember having to remove your turbo to change out the Alternator bracket with the A/C delete bracket?

I got my ac delete bracket installed tonight. I can verify it was not necessary to remove the turbo but I did also remove the intake manifold. I can’t imagine doing this job with the manifold still in place.
my new questions are:
1. How did you route the alternator wiring? It seems too short now to go under the intake manifold so I routed along the oil pan
2. What did you do for the alternator cooling duct? I now have interference with the steering rack
