I would also be interested in knowing how much this would be worth.

Um, unless I'm missing something, that wheel is from a 928... Part number starting with 928?

Shiza, Rolex... Time to poop on unsuspecting Hondas, build another one!

Parts are mixed on all Porsches. I wonder if the center pad has a separate part number, could you pull it off to check?

I got a response on the 964 forum check this out. Swanders I will see if the pad has anumber

I have just checked the PET and the answer is yes, that is the original deal. One thing I learnt is that the did 2 part numbers for the steering wheel but having seen your part number, I think they are the same thing! I believe the (08 VERL) refers to the wheel when used with "elevated hub".

The descrfiption is

928 347 084 08 Steering wheel with elevated hub Carrera RS M018

928 347 084 07 Steering wheel Carrera RS

Option M018 is listed as

M018 Sports steering wheel with elevated hub 30mm

I hope the answer is comprehensive enough

I believe the steering wheel is also thicker than the standard version of those in 944's and 3.2 carreras. Other than that, the longer hub, and the RS pad I don't believe there is any other difference. I'm going to take a guess and say maybe ~$200-400? It's not that common, and I don't believe it came as standard on all 964 RS models. Though, I can't see it really being worth more than the 930S wheel seeing as it's not really that different from stock. You might check with someone on RSAmerica as I could have sworn these were an option for the US as well. Did some quick searching on Google and a couple other sources but, I couldn't find one for sale so it's hard to say what the market value might be. I'll give you $50.
