Ok but it is still the same thing he even had it activated by a clutch pedal switch , same as this guy.All it seems to be is a adj spark cut toggled by the clutch pedal.

well no a bang bang anti lag system actually cuts timing and adds fuel so the fuel actually burns in the exhaust. one of the reasons its so hard on the exhaust and turbo system.
