Default Shift light recommendations

Anybody have any recommendations for a shift light that can hook up to the stock ignition system? I find that when passing loud cars on the track I can't hear my own engine and need a reminder. I have been looking at the VDO XRP 5324 and it seems ok. It is a self contained unit and seems like a nice one.

I use one made by Raptor. I'm happy with it.

i second the raptor...i just installed one on my mustang...i should have done it sooner.. i bounced off the rev limiter a few times at the track because i couldnt hear my car and i really liked the size of the raptor...its not to conspicuous

The Raptor one looks just like the VDO mini light. Interesting that in the manual for the VDO light it references the Raptor website so they must be the same. Looks like a good option.
