See recent alingment results. Some they could not get into spec, but is this enough to greatly effect the feel/handling?

That's what I am thinking but wouldn't it be even worse in the corners or turns? As it feels pretty solid when hard turning or corners. Only in the straights it feels floaty.
Could it be the strut bushing/bearing? the large rubber piece a top each strut.
Anyone have a pic of a newer or solid looking strut bushing??

Floaty = low or no spring damping. Change the shocks and look no further. No other suspesion setting or adjustment will solve this. If left unattended, this condition will cause your other suspension components to deteriorate faster making the problem worse. The reason it gets worse as it heats up is that with less fluid inside the blown shock, the remaining fluid has to absorb the heat of the oil throttled thru the shock valve; so it thins out and foams up giving you even less damping.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, ok. I was thinking the heat was doing something to the shock fluid.
Are there any other shocks on the market that are alomst as good as Koni/Bilstien, etc. but a little cheaper? Due to newer technolgy.
I have Knoi yellows all around due to the PO, but he was planning to DE the car alot. Mine is a daily driver and might only see a few DE/autocross events here and there.
I ahve always thought of Monroe shocks as el cheapo, but after some research it seems they have some higher end sport shocks now.
Any other choices that would be good for hard street/some DE not as intense as Koni, etc. ?

Well, in the corners it is pretty solid.
In the straights, aboe 50-60mph, it starts to feel real "floaty". Especially if I rake the steering wheel some back and forth.
Almost feels like if I do it a little more or was going a little fast it would go into like a car version of a bike "high speed wabble". Almost like a mild "hydroplane" feel. Again, only at highway speeds. I have not even gotten it up to higher speeds as it would seem to feel like the car would float right off the road.
Also seems to react to every bump or crease in the road. I.e. the steering wheel/wheels will grab to that instead of jsut sucking up the bump so to speak.
Work done:
Both new steering rack bushings. Driver side is Delrin.
Steering rack just changed.
Full 4 wheel alignment.
Now all matching Khumo tires.
Koni adjustable fron struts (7+ years old) but mech said they "seem" ok.
The only issue he noticed was one side the strut "bearing/bushing" on top seems stretched.
Full inspection under the car showed nothing loose or out of spec.
Any suggestions?
Just new shocks? Camber plates?? Strut tower brace???

With the car turned of and rocking the steering wheel, it's loose enough to note, and in addition, it has sort of a stop knock noise when rocking it too. Sometimes when you run across expansion joints on a driveway, or speed bumps, or even on a gravel road, the steering rattles or clunks a bit. You can hear it and feel it. Just can't follow where/what's causing it. I've had someone sit in the car rocking the wheel while I watched the intermediate shaft, and I cannot identify anything wrong, but it's still suspect. Any thoughts?

Drifting
I took the undertrays off when I changed the belts/rollers, decided to wait until I'd re tensioned the belts before fitting the trays again, at 130+ without the undertrays the front definately felt lighter.
