Why dont I have headlight washers?
I have often noticed that all other 951s I have seen had headlight washers but never really put much thought into it. Were headlight washers an option on the 951 or were they standard?
I was looking at the American International Racing website today (looking for a splitter) and I noticed that they have a 944 Turbo Update Bumper. Is this any different from the factory 951 bumper? This bumper definately looks like mine but then I thought all 951 bumpers looked like this (just with headlight washers).
Here are 2 pics of my front bumper.

Sorry -- only cool kids got the headlight washers. To be honest, I don't think they are particularly useful -- just another item that might break. I think the only thing different about the bumper is that it has two extra holes drilled in.
BTW, would a splitter designed for a 968 fit on a 951? I just found one in the basement today while doing a little garage cleaning....

let me know if you need a paint guy.
i know a certain ukranian in sacramento that does *great* work.
i saw him color-match a pearl Infiniti Q45 pretty much perfect.
a color like garnet red shouldnt be too hard for him to match.
(and he's CHEAP)

The early cars that didn't come with it as an option didn't have the plugs. Based upon what I've seen I believe it is somewhere in the first 600 cars but I could be wrong on that one.

The really really early 86 951's had some bumpers without holes for the plugs/washers.
I had the holes in my 86 951 bumper filled with putty/fibreglass.
