Default No real change? Anty comments?

Just bought 89 944T with 62,000 miles the pervious owner included an exhaust with the cats gutted. I swaped the factory pipes for the gutted cats today and went for a drive. It seemed to me no noticeable difference. I did notice that the boost came on quicker but was lacking some pull could not put my finger on it? Should I change back to stock or is it just my imagination? What's your thoughts?

Thanks,
Will

The only difference will be quicker spool and that is it.

I think with elevated boost, the cat-delete would be more noticeable.

Wasn't the difference between European and North American Cars cat/no cat and the HP different was 220 to 217, IIRC?

I notice I have much better mid rage pull with the cat in place along with the quicker spool. I keep it in for the most part.

That is interesting, I have noticed the opposite. I guess it all has to do with the way your car is setup.
