My car is open dump, it'll be at 944Fest and I'll be in Philly with it in August. If anyone wants a ride just ask. I personally like open dump, but I've decided it's just to damn loud and I'm going back to closed.

I have mine dumped and not noticable when at WOT and 3" exhaust.
Only really notice it if I am driving by something that reflects the sound back to me..and that sounds AWESOME!!!

Sorry, I meant it is not really noticble as with a 3" and WOT, you do not really care or notice that you are hearing the dump pipe.

open dump is great. if someone gets on your *** real bad, you can let them have it,
i actually made someone drop their groceries when i was ripping down the street
felt kinda bad afterwards.......
but yeah, i've learned that the dumped WG is good for a car that you use more than on runs. like, if you go out on dates and stuff, it keeps your foot out of the gas, because everyone for a few blocks around will hear you.
the first night i got it dumped, i went to my friend's house. i went for a drive around the block, and i was 2 blocks over when i mashed the gas.
my friend was on the crapper in the house and heard it.
i'd say that's awesome.

Rage2 ran his 951 with an open wastegate. He put a little muffler on it though - something like what you would find on a briggs and stratton if I remember right. There should be some videos of his here somewhere.
