Hood Liner Options
Folks ... it's time for me to replace the hood liner as it is in BAD shape.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what pad to use? The factory type looks blah and plain. What about this one that Paragon sells??? Paragon One
Any other options out there?

I would think it would "streamline" the airflow a bit better ... not porous, which would cool it a bit better. BTW ... our engines run better when they are a bit hotter ...

Let me save you guys some big money. This is what I bought and it works great. I used it for my rear seat delete/package tray project, rear deck, and also cut 2 pieces for the hood ($15). I used the double foil faced type. It's very dense, great sound deadener, and is fire retardant. It bonds great to metal with contact cement also.

88+ does not have them from what I understand.
There should be no worries about a 944 turbo running hot enough unless you are in the artic.
the paint on my hood is fine and the car has been in Arizona most of its 197K mile life.

I got the one from Paragon, quite nice.
I decided to use it once I took the stuff off. Looks just as bad when its off as when its on due to the leftover glue and stuff
