Default Wastegate Question

Hey guys, just trying to educate myself on this 951 and parts options. There is a Tial for sale on ebay.http://offer.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/...m=220005674338
Since Tial only shows sizes from 38mm, could this be worth even bidding on? The guy bought it for a motorcycle, it looks like.

I would pass on it. You will still need adaptor plates for a 951 and you really don't know what condition it's in. Personally I'd buy a package deal from a good vendor, I got mine from Pauerman with SS gaskets, safety wire, and everything. Great price but I'm not sure he is still doing these or not.

Send him an email and see if he is still selling the Tial kits. I know that all Tial distributors were having a hard time getting units about 2 months ago. SFR and MySwiss (username) also sells adaptor plates if that doesn't work out for you. Here's the link: http://pauertuning.com/

One thing to note is that there has been a influx of fake Tial wastegates lately. These knockoffs look pretty but they don't hold vacuum. The one I held even said Tial on it but didn't have a serial number and did not say "Made in USA". Makes it even more important to use a reliable vendor.

Pauerman, MySwiss, and SFR are on Rennlist and sell the Tial with the adapters for very reasonable prices. Much better and safer than EvilBay.
