All i know about the head is that is supposed to be able to produce some serious HP with the bigger valves and the awesome port work done. The fire ring was done to prevent exsessive combustin pressures from seeping into the coolant jackets. I'm sure dome of the others can chime in with some more info.

Doesn't this head already have a bid of $450 with the ebayer paying for shipping. Sounds like you already have the same deal.

I have that head installed, bought it just before Huntley went under, mainly for its installed O-ring.
It has worked well, had some porting done and the valves seal well, but no change in valve dimensions. Whoever Huntley subcontracted the job to did a very nice job.
