Default Blink code tester

I would like to build a blink code tester as shown in the L/R site >LINK< but would like to mount the LED in the cabin. Instead of running the wires from the engine compartment I would prefer to tap them at the DME/KLR. If I'm reading the wiring diagram correctly the connections should be; black lead from LED to KLR pin 3(GN wire), red lead from LED to DME pin 12(YE/BK wire). Is this correct?

TIA

You may want to consider adding a toggle switch also. It may get old having to see the "3-2" code flashing (excessive charging pressure) at every stop light after getting on the boost.
