Default Anybody have one?

Hey guys, I'm looking to replace the microswitch that operates the key release for the hatch. Mine crapped out on me and I dont even wanna call the dealer to ask...Anyone have a spare one they know is in good working order that they are willing to part with?

If it's the one in the hatch where you stick your key then it's a simple replacement for only a couple of $$ from your local electroncis store. From memory the original part is $27US but I replaced my busted switch for less than $2! Take your old one to the store so you can match the size as close as possible.

I have one -- it came from my S2 that was having grounding issues so I swapped to the old style mechanical linkage. I *think* it's in good shape -- I just slapped it on a multi-meter and it seems to be completing the circuit. PM me with your address and I'll send it to you -- but you'll owe me a drink when we finally get a chance to meet up.

I revived the one on my sunroof by spraying it full of conatct cleaner, whilst exercising it, probably worth a try,
