Default More woes with my turbo kit

I finally got my EBC hooked up correctly, and now I get very responsive boost...but it won't go past 0.50bar.
I have my EBC set to:
Set 40%
Gain 20
Start (Set Gain) 0.8 Bar
Warning 1.15 Bar
Limit 5%

I tried bumping the Set up to 45%, but it still peaked around half a bar. I didn't want to risk a higher setting without getting some advice first.
Any suggestions?
Here's what I'm running:
Vitesse Stage 3 MAF/Turbo Kit
Vitesse Chips
GReddy Profec B Spec II EBC
Tial 38mm WG

Also, does the Vitesse electronics package eliminate or raise the rev limiter? I noticed I can now rev my car to 7000rpm (possibly higher) and I don't feel the limiter kick in. (If I get the needle past the red mark on the tach, to where it's white again, does that mean it's no longer bad for the engine? ).

I had the same problem with my ebc. ... looked down and it was on the "low" boost setting. Switch over to the high boost setting. BUT be careful. Pay attention and let out if the boost jumps.

also make sure you have it hooked up right. Im assuming you have a greddy profec by the settings you stated. 40% should be good for around 15psi. Also the vitesse maf board(the new one) has a rev limiter I accidentally hit it in first when i had my car out last year all the mods and not driving it left me not used to it it was i think john said 7300 but then again its somewhere up there

My chipboard does have a rev limiter. I've hit it on a couple of occasions but I'm not sure at what rpm it is set. It's been brought up before that the rev counters on the 944 could be (way) off at high rpms.

I don't think your controller is the issue. You're running a tial which probably has an .8 or 1 bar spring in that so regardless of your controller you shouldn't see less then that. Are you using the factory gauge to get these readings? I would start looking for a boost leak or a bad BOV.

The chips in your car raise the limiter. The factory tach is notorious for being off in the upper revs.

PHP Code:
Warning 1.15 Bar
Is this a typo? Should it be 11.5? If it is, your ebc is shutting down boost at 11.5 psia.
Set it to your max boost, 160=16psia, 170=17psia, etc.

According to the Profec instructions, it looks like your decimel is in the wrong spot.

Does the low vs. high setting really matter? To me it seemed more like a label allowing you to have two configurations. I do have mine set to low, but I have the numbers set to hit 1bar of boost. (If I can ever find high octane fuel in Phoenix, I'll set the high mode to reach 1.2).

I'm getting that 0.52bar number from the EBC itself. The stock gauge reads about 0.7ish.

The strange part is, Thursday morning I had the lines to the EBC solenoid reversed, and it would boost to 1.2bar (or more), then after switching the lines, it would only hit 0.5bar. Maybe one of those lines was not properly attached, or got injured in the switch.
