BTW Joe, how reliable has the build been on the work from Powerhaus? Honestly. I'm considering getting those guys to tweek my 3 liter and they are right down the street...

Hey Chris, probably the most reliable out there as far as builders go. David himself has the same motor as me with over 90,000 miles on it and only changed the water pump. I've had my motor for over five years and never put a dime into it. He's costly though. If you do it though, pm me first as after a ton of people will from here as well after they see your post here. There's more out there that David doesn't use as far as parts from different vendors and I am getting him to open up to what's out there. He's really about no tuning, get in and go reliability. If your thinking about tuning your car, I'm gonna upgrade hopefully in the future and my parts should fit right on your car. We'll talk more for sure. Joe

How does the car feel off boost compare to a 8v 2.5L ?..........and At what RPM do you get Max HP?

The CFO of my company crapped on my manager when we rented a convertable V6 slushbox Junkstang... That cost like $10 more a day than the Taurus we were supposed to get... I wonder what theyd do to me if I tried to bill a Ferrari

Great!!...........That is what I wanted to hear.
My Brother has a 996 Turbo. I drove it the other day and I was very surprise to find out how powerful the engine was off boost. You could, if you wanted to, accelerate into the freeway with out the help of the turbos. Of course that is a 3.6 L engine with a 9.5:1 CR.
Do you know your CR?..........I think I read somewere that it was around 8.8:1, is this correct?
sorry for all the questions Joe

Woah, I was on two different threads at the same time. This one is mine. Can you tell I haven't gone to bed yet?! Ok, back to you Al, I believe my cr is 8:5:1 IIRC. Not as nice as a 3.6 but it does the job pretty good. With my boost though, I'll eat a GT2...lol.

Id love to check out your car next time I'm up that way, I'm usually in mine so maybe we can put em side by side and see whos faster ;-) jk, but I'd LOVE to see your car, as I've heard/read/seen so much of it here on the list. Hope to catch ya sometime!

Holy SH*@ Sounds like a good time! Paul, we need to catch up, I'll give you a call in the AM.. Hope the Poker tables treated you well!
Also, I used these guys last time I was in Vegas: http://www.dreamcarrentals.com/ We had 4 people and wound up renting a late '60's GTO for the trip to the hoover dam.. I should have grabbed a viper for a couple of hours! Always next time I suppose.
