Default Synthetic vs. Dino oil?

My 951 has 71,000 miles and I'm going to change the oil tomorrow. Question, will a synthetic cause leaks if its been running dino oil this long? The car had a reseal at 65,000 miles so maybe I won't have any problems? Anyway, and I was just wondering what some of you guys were running. If I go with a synthetic, what kind works best? Thanks!! :

I bought my 951 last summer with 95,000 miles, no leaks and Dino in it. I have since run Valvoline synthetic, Mobil 1 & Castrol Syntec with no leaks with any of them. I've used the Castrol for many years in many cars. I really like the 5W-50, a nice high viscosity, but my 4Runner still started easily at -30F. Around here a lot of places only sell 5-30 synthetic, which doesn't hold oil pressure when idling if it's hot, so go for a higher viscosity.
