If I knew you were working on this project, I would have come by for lessons as I have been waiting on George Sargent to do likewise. Pics look good.
Did you go back with the clear coat finish? BTW, which machine shop did you use for your head work?

Lindsey did my head. There is a good 3-4 coats of clear on the paint, and hopefully it will be as hardy as the original Glasurit

Eugene, did they do all prep, prime, paint, clear, post-paint, final detail for $2500? That is a very good price.

Thanks!

Other than my green, a shining new black paint is always a winner in my eyes

$2500 for everything? If this is true, I may ship my car down there to get painted.

Yes. These guys do all the repair work for the high end dealerships in the area - Aston Martin, Lotus, MB, Lexus, Infiniti. They will take in a project car to work on during slow or down times kind of on the side. The car gets worked on slowly over the course of a month, but comes out great and relatively inexpensively. These guys did a repaint (color changed) on the mustang of the lead singer of Maroon 5.

paint done. Some light buffing to touch up some spots is needed, but otherwise:
