Default ARC2/ARM1 uninstall??

I have a Huntley stage 3 MAF with Guru v9 chips and would like to uninstall my ARC2/ARM1 (possibly for sale). Will this MAF run without these 2 components? Im trying to get the car as close to stock as possible for trouble shooting reasons.

tks

Mine would not run with the HR MAF, without the ARC2.

I am almost positive you need some fuel massager for that unit.

So I could remove the ARM1 then??

Im trying to track down a electircal problem causing my car to barely run and taking things out of the picture makes it easier to isolate the problem.

Yes, you can remove the ARM1 if you want to. If you described the syptoms, maybe we can help pinpoint the problem. No sense taking the car apart if you don't really need to.

Here is the original post...

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/278591-very-rich-backfiring-stalling-help-with-diagnosis.html

I checked all the main air pipes everything is tight. I also noticed that my ARM1 was only reading from the red lights to the yellow. It would never get up to the green or blue lights on the right side of the light scale. I would rev the engine and the lights would rise up to yellow and go back down to red, then off altogether at idle.

I figured that the wiring was screwed up. I pulled the radio and checked my connections. I used some of the wires behind the radio for switched power and power to light up the ARM1 as well as the ARC2. While handling the wires the engine cut out completely!! I started it up and could reproduce the problem by moving the wire cluster back there. I wanted to remove the ARM1 just to remove some of the wires to get a better picture. Some of the wires for the ARM1/ARC2 are beat up and need to be respliced.

The car is running better but not great. I still think its the wiring. If I pull the power on the ARC2, the car will run EXACTLY like it did in my original post. I would like to pull the ARM1 and get it running with just the ARC2 and install the ARM1 after.

Any thoughts....
