Default Has anyone had a Zeitronix fail on them? (Bad Vendor Review)

My Zeitronix seems to have failed, it reads 14.7 on the wideband, and 1.0 L 100% of the time. Needless to say I can really drive my car when my 02 has failed. I'm not 100% sure it's the sensor but the guys over at zeitronix are useless. (Wont return emails, dont list a phone number). Does anyone have any suggestions?

mine does that from time to time. I think it has a lot to do with where you put the o2 sensor. could just be the software needs to be re-worked. I just deal with it

I not only cant (base my fueling off of it for Tec3R) but WILL NOT accept that it just "does it" from time to time. I paid for a product, I expect it to work AS ADVERTISED. Another rennlister sent me their phone number, I'm calling them now to see what they have to say.

Go get them tiger. I use the innovate lm-1 for tuning and data logging and for permanent use the lc-1, Innovate has great tech support.

My PLX WB02 unit started to "freeze" about 3 months ago. It would keep sending the proper signal to my car and datalogging AFMLink, but the display would just freeze.

I also noticed it was getting a little warm... Also if I tapped it with my fingers, sometimes it would unfreeze.

So, I sent it back to PLX, but it was not under warranty still. They did a firmware upgrade and sent it back within two days.

Every once a month it would freeze still, so I mounted it under the driver's dash where it got more airflow and it seems to be doing okay.

Does your unit get warm/hot? If so, try moving it to a better location.

I had that same thing happen with my Zeitronix. Replaced the O2 sensor and hasn't done it since.

Well, I finally got through, they were... less than helpful. I finally decided to just pull the 02 sensor, which ended up being a VW part which my local dealer has. I suspect the sensor has failed, I'll just pick up a new one in the morning and try that. Next time I'll be going with AEM.

My LCD unit fails to power up about 1 in 10 times, and more recently one of the harness wires pulled out of its connector for no apparent reason (other than its very thin, vulnerable, 22 or 24 gauge wire). On the other hand, they always respond to my emails very fast. They've offered to look at my LCD, but they wanted me to remove everything including the sensor. I like the data logging software, but they wouldn't give me the data format so I could make my own black box, which irked me a bit. I'm going to fix the wire, and keep study up for the "best" replacement down the road.

Those wires are teeny tiny. The guy that fix mine for me gooped up the connector and wrapped it so the wires would not pull out again.

I picked up the pin extractor and replacement pins at Jameco today. Those pins would look right at home on a disk drive, but not so much in the footwell.

Kidding aside, it is a good, feature-rich system, especially for the price. Mine are just minor gripes.
