Anyone ever delete it? Plug the holes off and use the cam tower for filler and vent, or plug the bottom hole and make a filler for the top hole?

I know ppl have done this when they have switched to a dry sump system. The only problem with the cam tower is that I'm not sure it will vent the crank case all that well, don't know though.

Just out of curiosity, have you got it out? If so, what did you remove to get the last bottom bolt? Sucker that I am, I decided to take it out and reseal it while I had the intake off for some plumbing work. Like most projects, this is escalating out of control!

nope but I'm getting a new motor ready and I was thinking of deleting it for more room for a downpipe. I'm fabbing a new one as I wasn't happy with the last one I made plus I went to a V-band exhaust

Hmm interesting topic it would make alot more room in there without it.
dme: you have to technically pull the turbo to get it out but poeple cut the heat shield to get the bottom bolt without pulling the turbo.
